Intangible Heritage Craft Points

Heritage textile details, finishing notes and limited-batch positioning for the luxury product template.

Selected Master Qian Xiaoping's intangible cultural heritage to restore Song brocade fabrics, mixed with natural mulberry silk and embroidered with gold colored threads, to reproduce the palace's classic blue background fairy grass Baoxiangshou pattern. It has a deep navy blue brocade base, with a ring-shaped precious flower in the center inlaid with the Chinese character "longevity" in seal script, surrounded by tangled branches of fairy grass and magnolia flowers. The contrasting colors of alum blue and vermilion are complemented by gilt hook patterns. The ancient hand-made jacquard creates a three-dimensional concave and convex texture. The silk thread layers are full and three-dimensional, and the texture is far better than the cheap printed fabric shells on the market. The all-in-one matte TPU soft shell fits the body precisely, and the heightened lens ring protects against bumps in all directions; the natural silk brocade surface is skin-friendly and breathable, oil-resistant and fingerprint-resistant, making it dry and non-sticky to hold in all seasons. Baoxiang flower means complete success, jelly grass symbolizes longevity and good health, and removes blessings. The longevity pattern represents long life. In ancient times, this pattern was often used in palace birthday gift brocade robes, birthday treasure boxes, and nobles' carry-on gift bags for personal use to protect themselves and receive blessings. Giving gifts symbolizes good fortune and longevity, peace and prosperity.

Song brocade is an intangible cultural heritage of mankind. It was created by Suzhou Weaving House in the Southern Song Dynasty and was designated as royal brocade in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Qian Xiaoping, as the only national intangible inheritor of Song brocade, spent most of his life sorting out the fragments of ancient brocade in the collection and restoring a large number of lost palace patterns. The blue-ground fairy grass treasure Xiang brocade was restored from the Ming and Qing longevity brocades. The fairy grass Baoxiang pattern was popular in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and the birthday ceremony culture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties was at its peak: Baoxiang flower combines peony and lotus, and is an auspicious flower for Buddhism; Xiancao is Ganoderma lucidum, which has symbolized longevity and health since ancient times; the central group longevity is a classic Chinese birthday symbol. In ancient times, every royal birthday banquet and official birthday celebrations would use this pattern brocade to make clothing and gift packaging. The entire piece of Song Dynasty brocade has gone through more than 20 ancient processes including silk reeling and dyeing, plant dyeing, cross-stitching, and hand-thrown shuttle weaving on an old-fashioned wooden machine. The fine texture of the group flowers consumes cumbersome materials. The old-fashioned loom can only weave a few centimeters of brocade in a single day, and the fabric stock is scarce. The designer reduced the Song brocade of longevity and longevity restored by the master into phone case fabric, bringing the ancient palace brocade used to celebrate birthdays into modern daily life.
