A gentle pink phone case featuring Song brocade handwoven by heritage artisan Lu Meiying. Pink, teal and olive silk yarns form the symmetrical Baoxiang flower inspired by Dunhuang murals. The flexible black frame provides full-wrap drop protection, a raised camera surround, precise openings and anti-slip sides.
The Baoxiang flower combines lotus, peony and scrolling foliage from the murals of the Mogao Caves, symbolizing fulfillment, prosperity and peace. Lu Meiying reinterprets the historic motif in softly colored mulberry-silk Song brocade using the traditional discontinuous-weft technique, making each woven panel subtly unique.
