Intangible Heritage Craft Points

Heritage textile details, finishing notes and limited-batch positioning for the luxury product template.

The same intangible cultural heritage Song brocade fabric as the national gift was selected, and natural mulberry silk was mixed with gilt, sapphire blue, and off-white colored silk to restore the classic palace pattern of scattered large and small treasures. The calm black background is lined with sapphire blue twigs and curly grass. The large group of treasures is in the center and full of atmosphere. Small groups of floral flowers are embellished and surrounded. The gilt border outlines the veins of the petals. The ancient three-dimensional jacquard creates an embossed fabric texture. The fabric is dense and thick, and the texture is far superior to cheap printed shells. The all-inclusive TPU soft shell is 1:1 molded from the real machine, and the lens ring is heightened to protect it from bumps in all directions; the natural silk brocade surface is breathable and dry, is oil-resistant and fingerprint-resistant, and does not stick to your hands when held. The Baoxiang Tuanhua symbolizes perfection, wealth and success for the family, and the tangled branches on the pavement represent continuous blessings and endless life. In ancient times, Tuanhua Song brocade was used as a royal fabric for palace dresses and ritual utensils. It is for personal use, noble and steady, and giving gifts means complete prosperity and good luck in everything.

Shangjiukai inherits the full set of Song brocade ancient techniques from Suzhou Ming and Qing Weaving Houses. Brocade has been used as a fabric for national foreign affairs and national gifts all year round. Song brocade has been included in the intangible cultural heritage of mankind. The large and small clusters of flowers began in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a classic pattern used by the royal family. The large and small clusters of flowers symbolize the gathering of large and small blessings and wealth. The Suzhou Weaving Bureau in the Ming and Qing dynasties was designated to weave this kind of tribute brocade, which was mostly used in emperor's and empress' attires, birthday ceremony boxes, and rewards for high-ranking officials. Craftsmen relied on ancient brocade fragments in the museum's collection to restore this blue-gold retro color scheme, retaining the traditional wrapping of branches and treasures. The entire brocade material has gone through more than 20 processes including silk reeling and dyeing, natural dyeing of vegetation, cross-stitching, and hand-thrown weaving on an old-fashioned wooden machine. The large and small group patterns are complicated and consume a lot of silk. The old-fashioned loom can only weave a few centimeters of fabric in a single day, and mass production of retro colors is scarce.
