Heritage textile details, finishing notes and limited-batch positioning for the luxury product template.
The matte first-layer cowhide is selected as the base of the bag, and it is integrated with Shui national-level intangible heritage horsetail embroidery handcrafts to create this retro Chinese-style square box handbag. The surface of the bag is purely hand-embroidered with a colorful phoenix pattern, and the intangible heritage horsetail embroidery uses horsetail silk as thread, with multiple layers of stitching to outline the phoenix wings. The red and gold phoenix tails are paired with light blue feather tails. The pattern is full of three-dimensional relief, and each stitch is hand-finished by craftsmen. It is equipped with a natural solid wood curved handle, gilt-carved hardware embellishments at both ends, a flip-top brass rotating lock, and a multi-layered accordion compartment design on the bag body with clear storage partitions. It can be carried by hand in solid wood and worn cross-body with the attached long metal shoulder strap. It is suitable for new Chinese-style cheongsams, commuter windbreakers, and daily dresses. The phoenix has been the king of birds since ancient times, which means that the phoenix is auspicious, rich and prosperous, and has a bright future. Horsetail embroidery carries the cultural connotation of praying for the aquarium and Najib. It is noble and elegant for personal use. It has beautiful meanings for weddings, birthdays, and business gifts.
Horsetail embroidery is a unique national intangible cultural heritage of Guizhou Shui people. It has a history of thousands of years and is known as the "living fossil of embroidery". In ancient times, women of the Shui tribe used horsetails to wrap silk threads around each other, and spent several months embroidering patterns of phoenixes, flowers and birds, which were used in wedding attire to symbolize good fortune and the arrival of the phoenix. The phoenix pattern is a traditional top auspicious symbol, representing nobility, prosperity and success. The craftsman combines the ancient horsetail embroidery technique with modern luggage, using a solid cowhide backing, and fixing the hand-embroidered colorful phoenix on the bag body. It is paired with solid wood gilt handles to balance the texture of ethnic minority intangible cultural heritage with modern light luxury wear. There is no machine replacement for the entire Phoenix horsetail embroidery. It is all manually coiled and seeded. A single embroidery surface requires several days of meticulous sewing by craftsmen. Each piece of embroidery has a slightly different texture. Each bag is a unique handmade intangible cultural heritage collection.
